Never a dull moment hanging around jewelry designer Jeanna Acosta, the one & only & definitely an original of THE NAKED BEAN! She is a non-stop ball of fun, filled with energy and enthusiasm to say the least!
My first encounter with the unique fashionista was during Runway Tulsa 2017. You really couldn’t miss her distinct style or her enormous personality. We became immediate fashion friends! Her passion for designing one-of-a-kind stylish jewelry is so refreshing, as she pours her heart into every design she makes from hand.
Her friend, photographer extraordinary and owner of “Don’t Hate The 918”, the famous Steve Cluck, combined their two worlds to create a fab photo shoot on an ordinary Sunday afternoon.
Well, this ordinary Sunday soon became extraordinary as soon as the shoot begun. The cast consisted not only of friends & local models but also two moms of two shy teens who met for the very first time that day. These moms soon saw their daughters talent blossom before their eyes. I actually saw tears in their eyes as the pride they felt came to life in the beauty & talent they saw & felt in their daughters. This was truly a site to see and I don’t even have a child myself, but I was very moved, to say the least.
This experience touched me in a way I can probably never really fully explain, but I know I these two talented artists made a very real difference in people’s lives and hearts that day and they will definitely never be the same. God is so good! Now I know why I LOVE art, fashion, design, and people more than I ever have. This world has so much for us to delight in and explore! I hope we all never stop looking for the BEAUTY in the everyday things of this world!
